The sugar cookie recipe is an old family recipe of my grandmothers. The window technique is a new technique I’ve come across since opening my bakery a month ago. The combination of what’s near and dear to my heart and a newer modern day technique make this cookie irritable and just so unique!

How to make Christmas Window Cookies
01 Cream butter, and sugar
02 Add eggs and vanilla and mix well
03 Add flour and baking powder to wet mixture
04 Mix well until combined
05 Refrigerate for 30 minutes
06 Take out a fridge and place on Parchment Paper to roll out
07 Use cookie cutters to cut shapes of cookies and use smaller cookie cutters to cut smaller shapes on the inside to create a window. Space.
08 Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes until fully baked
09 Let fully cool on drying rack and place on Parchment Paper once fully cooled
10 Melt isomalt & pour into cookie windows
11 Add any decor to cookies (sprinkles, icing, etc)
